Is my connection fast enough to mirror?
Screen mirroring needs a fast and, above all, steady connection. This test measures speed, latency and jitter between this device and our server, then tells you the resolution it can handle.
Takes about 15 seconds.

How much speed does screen mirroring need?
A rough guide for a steady mirror. Mirroring is also sensitive to jitter and latency, which is why a fast line can still stutter on a crowded Wi-Fi.
| Quality | Recommended speed | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 540p | 2 Mbit/s and up | Slides, photos, web pages |
| 720p | 4 Mbit/s and up | General use, most video |
| 1080p | 8 Mbit/s and up | Sharp full screen video |
| 4K | 25 Mbit/s and up | Large 4K TVs, fine detail |
On the same Wi-Fi the picture travels device to device and never reaches the internet, so what counts is a strong, low-jitter signal. Run this test on the device you will mirror with, on the same Wi-Fi, as a stand-in for that.
