Record your screen while mirroring
Both sides can record. The sender records what it captures; the receiver records what it shows. The video downloads to that device when you stop.
Step by step
Press Record on the sender
Press Record next to Connect. You can record with or without mirroring.
Pick the screen
If nothing is shared yet, the browser asks what to capture. Choose it and press Share.
Stop to save
Press Stop. The recording downloads as a WebM (or MP4 on Safari) file.
Or record on the receiver
On the receiver, open the menu in the player and press Record. It saves when you stop or the sender leaves.
If it does not work
- Record is greyed out: this browser has no MediaRecorder; use Chrome or Edge.
- Silent recording: share system or tab audio when you pick the screen.
Mirror straight from your browser
Try MHL Mirroring on your own screens
Open the receiver on the TV, the sender on your computer, and connect with a 6-digit code. Free, peer-to-peer, nothing to install.
