Mirror a computer to an LG TV
LG smart TVs run webOS, which includes a Web Browser app. Open the receiver there and connect your computer with a 6-digit code.
Step by step
Open Web Browser on the TV
Press Home on the LG remote and start the Web Browser app.
Load the receiver
Enter /receiver. The receiver shows a 6-digit code and a QR code.
Open the sender
On the computer go to /sender, choose LG & Samsung TVs and type the code.
Connect and share
Press Connect, pick Entire Screen and press Share.
Fill the screen
Use the fullscreen button on the TV player and turn the sound on.
If it does not work
- Code never appears: the TV browser may be too old for live video. Update webOS or use a laptop by HDMI.
- Picture freezes: lower the resolution to 720p on the sender.
- No sound: tick "Also share system audio" and unmute on the TV.
Mirror straight from your browser
Try MHL Mirroring on your own screens
Open the receiver on the TV, the sender on your computer, and connect with a 6-digit code. Free, peer-to-peer, nothing to install.
